  Hi,

  Users in one particular group, only when authenticated to one particular domain controller in our domain, receive this error when REMOTELY trying to connect to a couple different SQL 2000 servers. The servers are SQL 2000 on Win2003 and the client machines are Win xp SP2. I have searched nad searched and nothing stands out, any ideas?

  Did you check whether or not the related ports are opened on this server or the firewall in between?
