DBMAIL IN SQL SERVER 2005

    I am using DBMAIL in SQL Server 2005 and facing following error during test mail

    Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: must be authenticated).

    I feel, that there is problem in my profile/account settings. but not understand wats wrong.

    Any one help me abt it.

    It sounds like you are trying to use anonymous access to the smtp server and you need to provide user name and password on the mail account you have setup.

    The mail server is requesting you a valid user/password before you can send the message.

    Ask you mail administrator for this info, if it's inside your network maybe he/she/they can setup mail server configuration so it allows that you can send mail from your SQL server without authenticate.

    I am providing my smtp email address (e.g. zkhalid@comapny.com.pk), that i am using in my company. Email and Passwords are correct. i can mail using same email and password. but can't mail via SQLDBMAIL!.

    Is there any way, that i use to DBmail using my comany email without configure the email server?
