Hi
Today i have created database by xyz user by assigning the dbcreator sql server role but question that if check the current database ldf file in ssms it is not showing where ldf file is located and i checked using the sp_helpdb for my database "sg 15010, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_helpdb, Line 44
The database 'bdkjk' does not exist. Supply a valid database name. To see available databases, use sys.databases". So why the ssms is not showing the ldf file and how i can increase size of log file by using ssms .please help this top me

hi
dbcreator have only permission to create new database on the instance, if you want alter the database to add the file, u need db_owner of alter database permission on the particular db
