Used my friend's system. It contains Enterprise, so made a DAC to my Xpress (with my secret DBCC), then tried the DBCC TIMEWARP.
It turned out, SSC is not equiped with DBCC TIMEWARP. Steve - can we upgrade SSC now?

SSC is equipped with DBCC TimeWarp. I guess you don't have sufficient rights to use it. 😛

Steve, this sounds like a great idea! There is a languish/anticipatory switch. Ofcourse if it's not in the budget, then maybe we could get the just the last half part of the TimeWarp... oh wait, I see it. Home sweet home:-)

Thanks for this thread, and the question. Went over well today, I think
April 1, 2010 at 9:16 am
I have been granted the rights.
But I'm stuck in an INFINITE LOOP now.
After getting the rights, I went to past using TIMEWARP (to try the TIMEWARP in the past as I intended), but in the past I have no rights (Just now only I got the rights).
So, again I went to the @past2 from @past1.. Its still continuing the process...@past 1234 and counting
Any help will be appreciated.

Steve, you forgot the 2nd part of the question for QoD: "List the parameters with their default values." 😀

Can't believe this thread gave me a feeling of loosing 7 points for QoD (humour) this morning.Yes. I lost the QoD about DBCC TIMEWARP. I couldnt find this thread in time.
I wish if theres something to go back and put 137 there in the answer.
Mad being a fool in April 1 2010.
Cheers DBAs
that is why we created dbcc timewarp - no you can go back and get the answer correct:-D

That should be fun
SSC has already experienced the timewarp once - this thread disappeared for half a day.

I'm a bit confused with a wrong answer, hence 7 points. If the question is categorized as humorous, how could it be a wrong answer, then? A wrong humor?

Even with humor there is still a right way and a wrong way.
The humor is in the fake command. Thus based on the documentation of that fake command that we have provided, the question has to use the values that we provided.
Did you at least get a laugh out of this thread and the QOD?

Ever seen a joke bomb? It happens all the time to comics, so there can be a wrong attempt.
Actually it's more that our engine allows only "1 right answer" or "select all" and you have to select all. We never built in an "either-or"scenario, which I'd like.
