    iS IT POSSIBLE TO INTERRUPT A DBCC SHRINKFILE AND WHAT IS THE IMPACT ?

    IN WHICH PHASE OF THE DBCC SCHRINKFILE IS THE PHYSICAL SHRINK OF THE FILE TAKEN PLACE ?

    I suspect you could, however odds are it would fire a rollback. So you would be right back where you started and it would take a while to complete the rollback.
