DBCC CHECKDB changed login permissions

  • After running a DBCC CHECKDB, one login missed its DBOWNER permission to its DB.

There was a DB having consistency error (which I fixed later), but the DB is not the one which the login missed the DBOWNER for.

By missing, it means the login had the DBO permission before the DBCC run but not after.

Anyone ever had this before or could you help me to figure out how this could happen?

    TIA.

  • I'm going to hazard a guess that it's a coincidence.

Or did you have to do anything to the master database?
