Hi,
I'm in the process of applying for DBA roles in the UK (Midlands) and wanted some information if possible on the likely interview questions for this role.
I am I suppose an accidental dba at the moment, responsible for around 20 production databases, both internally and for customers. These are SQL 2005 and 2008 dbs. I am pretty well versed in Disaster Recovery, SQL (and T-SQL to a certain degree), along with SSRS, performance troubleshooting, VBScript, ASP and VB6.
I have a number of roles at the moment (including managing people), but am finding a significant portion of my time is being devoted to DBA tasks. It is something I'm particularly interested in and so would like to get into it as a full time career.
Any help offered on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

That's all you need.
Be honest about your skills. Have an answer for I don't know but here's what I'd do to find out and how I'd resolve the issue.
Nobody knows sql 100% so no point in trying.
