DB Offlining Problem

    Hi,

    A colleague and I wish to take a DB offline so the application can be pointed to the DB on another box.

    However, when I do sp_dboption 'eforms_UAT','offline','true', I get the following error message. "Database state cannot be changed when users are in eforms_UAT .....". Trouble is the users ain't in the database, so we are unsure of what gives?

    Any clues please?

    Are you sure everyone is out of the database? I've had similar frustrations only to find that one of my Query Analyzer windows was still connected to the database.

    Run sp_who2 to find out who is in the database you want to take offline.
