What database are the 'Update Data Optimization Information' and 'Database Integrity Check' Tasks performed against? Is it the 'Production Database' which is being backed up or is it the 'backed up copy' of the Production Database? We are running SQL Server 2000 with SP3.
Optimization jobs are performed in the databases that are in SQL Server. The backup files are like the text files, they are in the file system. To find out which databases, open the maintenance plan and see what databases are checked.
