Dear all,
2-3 times per month I get the follownig error to Server event viewer:
"The log for database 'Itemtracker_Xenia' is not available. Check the event log for related error messages. Resolve any errors and restart the database."
The event log says nothing helpful. When I restrt SQL server service everything is up and running. Haw anybody any good ideas from where to start investigate the problem ?

Please check the event logs for any errors related to disks.

Also talk to your SAN guys - or your SAN vendor, if the LUN where the log file is located has been presented from a SAN and is not direct attached storage.
