Stephen, writing the QOTD is a lot of fun. Not easy, but fun. I've got a bunch of posts on the lessons learned/tried so far at http://sqlandy.com/tag/question-of-the-day/ that you may or may not find helpful. At some point I'll try to condense that down into something a little more usable. The one thing I find that helps me is explaining all the answers. It teaches more and it helps identify places (usually!) where you have a missed/strange assumption and need to go back to the question to add or tweak a hint.

Andy,I'm curious about why you chose the title "Datatypes In Your Mind".
Did you expect this TinyInt vs Bit question of the day to create some controvery and debate?
I think the bus driver should stick to sports trivia. 🙂
