As a member of the data applications team, you will aide in the design, development and maintenance of multiple client-facing data marts, using Microsoft SQL Server, Analysis Services and DTS. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design data models for OLAP analysis and reporting. Design and optimize report queries. Create, maintain and extend DTS packages supporting the production environment. Monitor database health and troubleshoot problems. Provide support during Production maintenance windows. Ensure DR plans are complete and up to date. Plan and implement migration of key processes to SQL Server 2005 environment. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field. - 3-5 years experience in design, development, & maintenance of DB architecture utilizing MS SQL Server7.0 & 2000 - 2-5 years of hands-on experience designing and developing datamarts / OLAP reporting systems. - 1-2 years experience with DTS very desirable. - Any experience with C# and ASP.NET a plus. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Willingness to provide after hours support on occasion. - Desire to work on a small team to create applications that will help drive comScore's growth. |

Why use buzz words like "leveraging"? Who is it supposed to impress? I "use" these products on the job; does that make me old-fashioned?
