Win2K server & SQL 7.0 SP4
'databasePROPERTYEX' is not a recognized function name.
When I try to run a script.
It works on SQL2K.. is there any way to make it work on SQL70 or there is an equivalent?
Thanks

Direct copy and paste from Books Online
Important Use the Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2000 function DATABASEPROPERTYEX to obtain information about the current setting of database options or the properties of a specified database. The DATABASEPROPERTY function is provided for backward compatibility.
This would probably indicate that the DATABASEPROPERTY function would work on SQL Server 7.0
Did you look a Books Online before posting??

Yes, but the DATABASEPROPERTY does not return data.
I have been playing with this but it could be that SQL70 did not have the data available.
Anyway, thank you for your advice and helped me to confirmed that I looked in the right place.
