Dual processor and running on the cluster environment with 1 GB Ram.

Hi,
Did You check the space available on your hard disk and also the available swap space on OS and your tempdb size though may not be the exact cause. If You are using RAID with dual processors sure You want to check it though. I just doubt it.

Harddisk and swap disk space is available. Tempdb is auto growth and the size still remain 1 mb as default during SQL installation. FYI, The server is running for more that a year.
In SQL server log
LogWriter: Operating system error 170(The requested resource is in use.) encountered.
Write error during log flush. Shutting down server
Error: 9001, Severity: 21, State: 4.
Error 9001 in book online
The log for database '%.*ls' is not available.
anyone know what is the mean?

I was more interested in the brand and controllers. I had a similar experience on a Dell server. Ended up being batteries that needed to be scrubbed, more of a hardware maint issue.

6450 are good servers, my problem was on a 4400. Is there anything in the eventlog suggesting a hardware problem? Did you run any of the DELL diagnostic utilities?
What do you mean by sometimes, how often has this happened?
How quickly does the database become suspended after you reattach it?
Is there a set pattern on when it becomes suspended?
If so have yuou tried running a trace log out of Perfmon?
