Database suspect mode

  • I am getting error sql server 2000 enterprise editon.. production database..

    I could not do any action . because database not in entry master db..

    Please help me..

    This is error"

    I/o error 2 (The system cannot find the file specified) detected during write at offset 0x0000007cf8a000 in file E:\Program Files\MSSQl\prod.mdf'

  • Is the file actually present on the E drive. Sometimes I get this when a SAN volume goes offline.

  • Yes. Raid level problem bad stripe.. but i have 2 days before backup was there.. how to up database to normal status... backup also not worked .. any luck

  • Fix whatever is still wrong with E drive then restore your last good backup.
