Database Restoring taking too long!!!

  Hello

  I have job enabled on one of my servers, with the task of taking a database offline and backing it up, and the perform a restore - all to be completed within an hour.

  I have looked at the job history and everything seems fine, but at the moment, the restoration seems to have frozen or something, as it has been saying 'db' (Restoring....).

  Can anyone help me out as I have run out of ideas and users need to generate reports as soon as possible.

  Did you restore the database using with norecovery option? Try this,

  Restore database dbname with recovery
