I have a database with lost data due to human error, user executed Create table on existing tables. I have complete database backup (both the .log and .mdf are available) of 4 days back.
I want to restore the database to current just the time before the user executed the create table commands (time of command execution is available). How to restore this database. Pls Help!!!

check what is your recovery model in DB properties window option tab.If it is set to full at the time of back up then only you can perform point in time restore. If it is so as usual in enterprise manager click Database>All task>restore DB then you can select the DB to restore and below you can see the check box point in restore .Check it and enter date and time to which restore when promted.

Thanks Rafeeque. I had tried that too but didnot work.
I have recovered the lost data using Lumigent Log Explorer. Its an excellent tool. I could view all the transactions in the log file and its possible to undo or redo any transaction using this software.
