Database moving one server to another

  Can anyone tell me the best way I can move my db's sql 2000 from Server A(old one) to the serve b (new one ) .

  I am going to  use attach and detach.  but do need to know how to transfer master dbb's as well and when i create new server "b" by taking old db's i have to get from other few old servers as well like server c , d.

  Why don't you just backup the databases you need on Server A and restore them on Server B?  Then you don't have to do anything to the master database.
