  The ALTER DATABASE command could not be sent to the remote server instance 'TCP://servername.domainname.com:5022'. The database mirroring configuration was not changed. Verify that the server is connected, and try again. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 1456)

  When I add the wintness server , i am getting above error.

  I tried few things, telnet connection is open, given correct full qulaified name..

  Please anyone help for me.

  have you checked and verified the mirroring endpoint configurations, this is undoubtedly where your problem will be
