Hi
Can you please tell how and in what case the combination of Database Mirroring with transactional replication achieved higher availability of the replication stream?

Thanks for the quick response.
I refered to the link earlier and if i understand correct, Database mirroing creates 2 copies of database,one is called principal DB available to client and other is called mirror DB used as StandBy.But Cna you tell me under which critical circumstances , this needs to be done?
Can you please guidE?

Sorry, but I can't guide, for several reasons:
* I'm not that well versed in high availability, and I don't feel like explaining something that I don't understand fully myself
* high availability is such a big topic, it just can't be explained in a forum post
I can suggest you to pick up a book about SQL Server Administration and read up on the subject.
Or, with some research, you can find all the information readily available online.
