  • Meh, who cares about mirroring 😀 Availability Groups FTW!

    Thanks for the question.

  • I hope that the wording for the answers could be corrected as there might have been translating issues or something (even if one could understand the intentions).

Thank you for the question. 🙂

  • The answers should have been a little more varied; as soon as one recognizes that restrictions 1 and 2 are both true, then 3-5 do not matter because 'all true' is the only possible answer.

AG, AG on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?

Nah - that just doesn't have the right ring to it. We better keep the mirrored databases a little longer. :hehe:

  • Nice easy question. Though hardly database mirror is in use, but good to recall the past.

    Thanks.

Heh, I really hope mirroring doesn't go away for a long, long time. AGs, for all their benefits, still can't be reasonably used to do all the things mirroring could do. It'll be a sad day when Microsoft actually takes it away.

I'm assuming all the answers were supposed to read "Only restrictions 1, 3, and 5 are true" and so on, but once I got over my initial confusion about the placement of the first number in each answer, that seemed clear enough.

    Cheers!

    Agreed, easy process of elimination.

  • Only 1 restrictions, 3 and 5 are true seems a very strange option.

Perhaps, everyone who does not have the budget for Enterprise Edition?

That would be me. Not today, and tomorrow isn't looking good either.

  • Thanks for the question.
