Database Mirroring

    Hi All,

    Am trying to setup Database Mirroring on my Network, I would like to know if it will work on the Developer Edition.

    Am aware that it works on Enterprise and Standard Editions, also Developer is same as Enterprise, so not sure if it will be ok.

    It should work in the developer edition. The developer edition has the same functionality as the enterprise edition except license and the number of concurrent users.

    But databbase mirror is introduced only from SQL 2005.

    Hopefully you are running SS2K5 (SQL Server 2005) as that is the version that has Mirroring, but since this post is in the SQL Server 7,2000 group I just wanted to make sure.

    Hi guys, Yes its sql server 2005 developer edition, sorry I did not know this was a sql server 7/2000 forum, so I guess I have all the prerequisites then.
