I'm confused....
Microsoft SQL Server 2008: Standard
Facilitate server upgrades with stable and more predictable query performance. Ensure business continuity with enhanced Database Mirroring including automatic page repair and ...

The 2 links provide conflicting information. I was under the impression it was Enterprise only, until I saw the features supported link which mentions automatic recovery from corruption for both Standard and Enterprise Editions.

Automatic Page Repair is available in Enterprise and Developer Editions for SQL Server 2008, so as 'Developer Edition' was not listed in the available answers I guess that 'Enterprise only' is the most correct answer...but not accurate.

Hello,
Question Of the day?
Database Mirroring
In which editions does automatic page repair work with Database Mirroring?
Yesterday, (08/April/2009) my answer was wrong
Enterprise and Standard Editions.
Today, (09/April/2009) is marked as right!
After all what is the correct answer.
Why in my account I have 40 points and the details total is 42. ?
Thank you

Developer edition contains every feature, so we don't often include it as an answer. It's not an edition you deploy on, so I don't think it needs to be included.
If the question if confusing, we might reaward points, but I didn't do that here, or don't think I did.

OK, I checked. I meant to fix the 4/7 question, put in the wrong ID and updated 4/8 🙁
The answer for 4/8 is enterprise only (caveat on Developer posted)

Hello, stating that only Enterprise Edition of SQLServer 2008 allows automatic page repair is a mistake that Microsoft already updated,
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb677167.aspx
"Updated content
Removed the incorrect statement that automatic page repair is limited to SQL Server 2008 Enterprise. SQL Server 2008 Standard also supports automatic page repair."
then I want my 2 points for answering this question... lol

Me too.
Where is my 2 points?
Is anybody trying to check questions in practice anyway.
There is to much materials that are simply not true at the time.
For example 70-432 book - till now I found 4 wrong answers.
One of them obviously was from some early marketing material, but unfortunatelly author dig not enough deep to.

Actually is not the big deal to get my 2 points... unless there are prizes for getting points... are there any prize for getting points?
Anyway Is a great way to share some hands-on knowledge to a community, so my points are already won by learning something new every day, thx

Is the answer going to be fixed, it should be Standard and Enterprise according to Books Online (see Change History at bottom of page referred to in above comments)? Also the edition comparison page says Standard and Enterprise under "Automatic Corruption Recovery from Mirror" in the High Availability section.

Yes, we will fix the question and reaward points.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Steve,
You mentioned that you will fix the question, but it is still incorrect. The article posted at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb677167.aspx does indeed have the following text in the Change History section: "Removed the incorrect statement that automatic page repair is limited to SQL Server 2008 Enterprise. SQL Server 2008 Standard also supports automatic page repair." In other words, can you gimmie my points back?
