Database mail is running fine from other servers !

environment is : 4 node cluster SQL server enterprise 64bit on win 2008 server 64GB ram

workaround, I have created a linked server to another sql server, so now I am able to send email... but worried about why it is not working from present server.

    Any help is appreciated !

    Thanks,

    \\K
