Database mail not working.

    SQL 2014 Clustered  2 Nodes

    VMware ESXI 6.5

    All drives are on NAS using iSCSI

    Lost the drives and I had to reinstall all my SQL instances  got them back online now

    Some final detail to work out.

    Setup Database Mail

    Tried Send test email and all emails are in the queue   status NOT SENT

    Looked at the logs and I see no errors

    Any ideas?

    You don't give us much to go on except to say it's broke.

    With that in mind, check the profile(s) and make sure one of them is setup as a default.

    Please check with your mail admin/network team whether the IP / Host configured in the Profile is white listed? If yes then double check the credentials (if any) which is being configured in the Profile.

    Thank you

    I figured it out

    It was the Server name was incorrect.  The MSTDC setup on the Cluster was wrong after correcting that email starting working.
