I set up Database Mail, I believe correctly, because when I send a test Email it work. However, I set up a job to send me an email on failure, but when the job fails, there is no email, and the job history notes that it failed to notify the operator. What am I missing?
Thanks...Nali

Did you enable mail profile in Mail Session in SQL Agent properties?

I read that although you set up email in SQL 2005, there is a bug which is supposed to be fixed in SP2.
So, you will not receive your emil until you install SP2. We have not installed SP2 yet, so I am not sure if in fact it is fixed or not.

This worked after I enabled it in the Agent profiled, and stopped and started the service.
