Hi,
The size of log file of a database becoming growing instantly. For that I scheduled a Full backup Monthly and differential backup weekly. Also scheduled job to shrink the log file.
One guy informed me there is another way for that, instead of differential backup do log backup it will automatically remove the size.
So Which one is better, please help me?

Neither Full nor Differential backups will remove completed transactions from the log. You must use Log backups, not shrinking. In addition to Gail's link, here's another[/url].
