I was just wondering if anyone knew about a feature, actual or planned, that would let us group databases together on an instance. That is, you could have sub-trees for particular classes of database which go together - by application, or by status, for example. (Similar to what you can do with registered servers in Management Studio.) Looking down a long, flat list of DBs to remember which ones should be configured together (and I don't have control of the naming) is a li'l bit anti-productive. I think this would be handy, if it is not in R2 or an upcoming release.
