Database email

    I setup database email and get this Message

    Could please provide more details for us?

    What version of SQL Server are you running?

    Is the underlying environment working fine?

    Have you made a recent change such as applying patches/service packs?

    I am using SQL 2008

    my email use to work but my pc crashed and had to redo it and know I can not get email to work but everything else seems to work fine.
