Requirements:
5 to 8(+) years of experience with MS SQL Server.
Solid database development experience using Transact SQL.
Data modeling experience (3+ years) with solid understanding of modeling concepts and techniques.
Experience with meta-data driven applications and associated issues.
Experience with issues and techniques associated with upgrading databases in place.
Must have experience with very large databases.
Must demonstrate ability to analyze and tune slow running procedures and queries.
Must posses excellent testing skills, past experience working closely with QAT a plus.
Must have worked through entire software development lifecycle. Past experience with process development a plus.
Not required but valuable - Experience with C++, VB, Java, ASP and/or COM
Duties:
Bring data model up to date, analyze current design, make improvement suggestions for future releases, assess impact of suggested changes, implement approved changes.
Help improve and streamline process for scripting upgrades to customer databases.
Performance tuning.
Support and maintenance of existing code.
