Database Design For Survey FeedBack(URGENT)

  • Hi,

I m new sqlserver 2000. I have 2 develop and design a database for customer feedback survey?

i m completely unaware of this?

Name of Coloumn, Primary Key, Foreign key and relationship?

how to design and develop? (schema).

    Plz help me?

  • Seriosly, this is way to big a topic to be answered in a post. Simply saying "customer feedback" is not nearly enough information to begin designing a database. You need to go through fundamental requirements gathering and as you do that, you'll begin to identify the tables and relationships you need. Here's a little article on how to do it, but it doesn't begin to cover all the details.

This is a collection of sample database designs. They can give you ideas to get started.

Other than that, all I can say is hit the books. Start off with Fleming & von Halle's "Handbook of Relational Database Design." It's old, but the fundamentals are still the same.

If you get stuck or have specific questions about the best way to meet a particular requirement, please post the question. But no one is going to be able to design your system for you based on the requirements you've provided.

  • Grant has some good resources, but before you ask a question, you need to do some research and some work. We are happy to help, but we don't want to do all the work for you.
