I am looking to implement a change control procedure (paper based to start with) on our servers. As there are currently no procedures or change control processes I was looking for a suitable set of documents that I could use as a template.
In my previous company we hav V strict software change control procedures and although it is a pain to have to do all the paperwork dotting the I's & crossing the T's.. it does give you a comfortable feeling knowing that there is some CYA (cover your arse) documentation that has been approved prior to the changes being put live.
Rather than have to reinvent the wheel I was looking for some samples and pointers to ease the implementation of the process. I know that there are other methods that can be employed but the luddites here need something simple ..

Andy
