What is your purpose of your client meeting?
Are you a DBA, or a Developer?
Do you have to worry about any dependent applications or you can be completely DB specific? Is the dependent application going to be as is or you going to be revamping or replacing it?

generic questions without assuming anything about the meeting or your role, would be like.
How big is the database
How many users connect to the database
How is Disaster Recovery handled (DR), How often is the database backed up.
Who is currently responsible/looks after the database
Ask about the applications that use the database
and if there is someone technical there, ask about the hardware that sql server is running on.
Put together a crib sheet (checklist), and make notes on everything that is said, and if possible speak to someone technical when you are there and get a phone number or email for the person responsible for the database before you leave.
