Hi
Our client is deploying the application using SQL Server 2008 Web Edition, we r developing using SQL 2008 Enterprise edition.
The DB contain some tables with data to run the application initially(Default settings)
We don't have the license for Web Edition as we have only Enterprise edition.
I know it is not possible to take the DB backup from enterprise edition and restore it to Web edition. Is it possible to generate the Script with data from enterprise edition and
run it into Web Edition.
One more Question
Does sql server 2008 web edition has Sql agent to run the automate backup and index maintenance jobs. Can we use Maintenance plan wizard as we use in Enterprise edition
thank you

Do you?
It is possible provided you arent using any enterprise specific features.

It does. Never installed it but its not a feature you'd want removed if you were hosting a website.
