Data storage for bigint datatype..

    what is the maximum storage of data using bigint?

    Bigint doesn't store the value of 9223372036854775808 .

    During insertion Arithmatic overflow error occurs

    According to BoL

    2^63 (-9,223,372,036,854,775,808) to 2^63-1 (9,223,372,036,854,775,807)

    So, no it will not store 9223372036854775808, as that's 1 higher than the max value allowed.
