Data driven subscriptions triggering update events

    Hi All,

    Can you please advise me if this is possible at all.

    I have deployed data driven subscriptions and want this to trigger update statements once the reports are sent.

    Really appreciate any information you can give on this.

    I dont think there is something out of the box which will allow you to do this. You might want to use some kind of filewatcher application and use it to run a sqlcmd

    Thanks for the response.

    Do you think I can invoke SQL reports from Maintenance Plans or SQL Server Agent as I can see the job that was created.

    I tried to add a step to the job but did not work. I have also created a Maintenance Plan to run the report and then run the update statements. The job ran fine and ran the update, but the reports were never sent.
