Hi all,
I have created a Windows File Share Data Driven Subscription for my report. There are 200 excel reports need to be generated. Normally the file size is 1XX KB and the largest is 4XX KB. The process will save the reports to my local PC from the SSRS server. The problem is it takes more than half an hour to generate all files. After investigation, there are numbers of "time gaps" throughtout the whole process. For example, it takes one min. to generate 100 files and wait for 15 mins for the next 50 files and wait for another 15 mins for the rest of files etc. I am not sure is it a normal behaviour for such process or is there anything I can configurate so that the "time gaps" will not occur during the generation? Please help! Any advice is welcome.

Where do you find the time gap? ReportServiceLog file, could you post it?

Two hours for 200 files isn't bad I don't think...Are there any possible CPU spikes during this time? It might be difficult to track down exactly...
