I am learning to build my first cube. I have created a data connection, data source view, and three dimensions (product, promotions, and date) which I have made sure to process and save.
Next, I have opened up the cube wizard to build my first cube. When I get to the 'Select Existing Dimensions' screen only two of the three dimensions appear. The date dimension is missing.
I find the following warnings in the error list:
"Dimension[Date]: Do not ignore duplicate key errors. Change the KeyDuplicate property of the error configuration so that it is not set to IgnoreError."
"Dimension[Date]: Avoid visible attribute heirarchies for attributes used as levels in user-define hierarchies."
I do not know what the warnings are referring to and are they the cause of this problem?

One additional observation is that the Date dimension table is found by the cube wizard in the list of available measures.
Since I designed Date as a dimension and it is listed in Solution Explorer as one, why does the cube wizard detect it as a measure?
