Cube Update Processing Job is Successful but unable to browse reports. Manually processed the cube and everything works fine, Why?

  Hi,

  SQL Server 64 bit, SSAS 2005.

  Since last several days, the SSIS package job to update the SSAS cube (dimension+cube FULL) runs successfully, however, users are unable to browse the reports build on those cubes.

  Then i manullay process those cubes and it again updates without error and then reports starts working fine, without any obvious reason.

  Any idea?

  Is the SSIS doing a full Process or just an update ?

  We had a similar problem where the update default cube processing ran successfully but there was still errors in the cube .Hence stopping us browsing the cube .

  But when we manually did a full process(deployment as well) it was all fine
