CSV import fail when set as sql job

  • Hi

I have a csv file on a fileserver.

I need to import this into a table in one of our sql 2005 servers.

I have tried both the import wizard and to create the ssis my self.

Running manually both works just fine. But when I create a standard job it fails.

To me it looks like this might be a user security problem, but I am not able to figure it out.

    Aany ideas?

    Best regards

  • does the account that the sql agent run under have access to the file server and file?

  • Hi Steve

Yes the user for sql agent is the same as my login user to both the sql server and the file server.

  • Have a look at the agent history and it will have an error message in there,
