CSV file without headings

    Hi Guys,

    I am using a DTS to get information from a particular server and exporting onto a .csv file. I am doing this because i want the information to be overwritten everytime the DTS exports the information to the csv file.

    Problem is that the headings on the .csv file does not display, can anyone perhaps tell me why this is happening?

    Without knowing the detail of your package, I would suggest this first.  If you are using the "destination file" object as part of a data tranformation task...

    1) open the "destination file" object.

    2) click on properties

    3 make sure that the checkbox labeled "First row has column names" is checked.

    If this is checked or if this is not how you are performing the export, please provide more info.
