Crystal Reports 11 Help

    I am returning a text field from an Oracle database. Only the first byte of the field is displayed on the report yet when I go into the database the full string is there.  I have inserted the data into a temporary SQL table and pointed the report to it and it works fine - ie showing the full text string.

    Any one else had anything similar and if so is there a workaround?

    Managed a "work around" - linking into an Access database which in turn is linked to the Oracle data source returns ths full text string and not just the first byte!

    Would still love to know why it is not working directly from Crystal to Oracle.
