Creating user on a mirrored read-only secondary

  Hi all,

  I want to grant a user read only access a read-only DB on a in a mirrored pair , I created the login fine, however when adding the user I'm getting

  "Failed to update database "MyDB" because the database is read-only."

  Anyone have a workaround?

  Yes, create the user on the Primary, create the Login on the Secondary with SID from the Primary.
