Hi there - I need to create a named instance on a sql cluster.
How do I perform this? Is it as simple as creating a named instance on a standalone machine? Is there anything I need to consider?
Thanks!!!

Setup on a cluster is a different thing from a standalone setup. You will need data disks, an IP address and a network name to add to the cluster during the setup. Installing a named or default instance is the same thing as for standalone setup: you just have to provide the instance name or select default instance.
If you never did this before, here is a quick walkthrough: http://mssqlfun.com/2014/06/03/sql-server-2014-cluster-installation-steps/
