hello, I currently have sql server 2000 standard edition. I have an access database in which the tables (backend) are in my sql server, I know there is a tool called reporting services that is used when you have stored procedures or views in which you want to create a report in access based in these sp or views, but I don't have that, is there another way to do this?. I have some queries in my access database in which i converted into sp, and now I would like to create a report based in this stored procedure or views in access.
Also, can someone tell me how much is it to purchase the reporting services for the sql server 2000 standard edition?
thank you so much

Reporting Services is included in your licensing costs for SQL Server.
You can embed the SQL query into the report much in the same way you can define the source data for your reports from MS Access. Or you can define your data source in Reporting Services as being from a stored procedure.

You can get a CD media for SQL Server Reporting Services for $5 (five) from Microsoft. The price reflecs shipping and handling, the license for the Reporting Services is included into your SQL Server license as Aaron says.
There is a good website for MS ACCESS developers, I do ask questions there too, they have different forums onn Forms and Reports
