create zip file on detach database with sqlserver 2005

    Hello comunity

    When i detach a database with the SQL server Management studio 2005, if after detaching my database i try to zip the DATA and LOG file with for example Winzip or 7Zip program, these programs return the following error:

    Warning : acess denied

    I don´t know why, someone have an ideia??

    i would check the folder and then the file permissions on the folders the log and data files reside in and the database files themselves, that will undoubtedly be the problem
