Create new roles

    Hi Experts,

    i have to make a recommendation on creating a roles.So i wanna take a suggestion from you guys before i make it.

    In genereal what roles you assign to the following, either system roles are userdefined roles.. If user defined roles could you please suggest me

    Developers

    Testing team

    Business Analysts

    ETL Team

    I would create a database role for each group of people and only grant the minimum each needs for the tasks they are trying to accomplish and no more.

    Create Roles with specific group names and assign schema, tables, views, store procs to those roles as needed access to.
