Create kill process role

    Using sql server 2000, if I assign myself the processadmin role, login then right click to kill processes/connections this feature is greyed Out. I want to create a role which allows others to killing processes.Can anyone help. Processadmin doesnt work.

    I'd like to create a user of minmal permission but able to kill processes what rights do they need assigning ?

    This should work. processadmin has KILL as a permission. Maybe you have not refreshed your EM. Try shutting ot down and relaunching it (I do not trust the 'refresh' function 100% when it comes to security/role/permissions activities within SQL Server).
