I have recently installed SQL Server 2008 R2 (10.50.1600)
When i clicked to create new DB Maintenance Plan, SSMT threw the following error message
TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
------------------------------
The connection string format is not valid. It must consist of one or more components of the form X=Y, separated by semicolons. This error occurs when a connection string with zero components is set on database connection manager.
(MaintenancePlan)
------------------------------
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
The connection string format is not valid. It must consist of one or more components of the form X=Y, separated by semicolons. This error occurs when a connection string with zero components is set on database connection manager.
(MaintenancePlan)
------------------------------
BUTTONS:
OK

It doesn't allow me to create the maintenance plan. i can query the databases restored on this server in SSMT. I haven't seen this error message before.
Any help is appreciated.
