  Hello,
  I have some sql on VmWare / HyperV

  I know how SQL has with CPU for edition based on license,
  but have question.

  somebody who knows about virtualization 

  is there is difference for performance SQL between CPU and socket setting ? 

  for example
   8socket with 1cpu  
  or
  2socket and 4cpu
  or 
  4socket and 2cpu
